• Our rentals are booked on a Saturday to Saturday stay.
• The rental fee is calculated by the weekly rental amount, plus a VT State tax of 9% of the rental amount, plus a refundable security deposit of $500. Linens are not included unless otherwise noted.
• If pets are allowed and you bring one, there is a $150 non-refundable pet fee, as well as a refundable $150 pet deposit.
• We require 50% of the amount due to reserve the dates, and the additional 50% 60 days prior to arrival date. Reservations within 60 days require the full amount due.
• A Sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations made more than Sixty (60) days prior to the cancellation date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that occur within Sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment.
Our stay at this property was incredible. When we arrived and entered the house we were amazed at how open the layout due to the post and beam construction. The bedrooms also gave more than enough space for all of our belongings without cramping. The 3 kids loved the TV/living room on the second floor to do puzzles and games. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils to accommodate our needs.
The exterior amenities were perfect. The porch and patio area allowed nice open seating. The fire pit was right at the waters edge and gave our evenings a great ambiance. The house faces west which allowed amazing sunsets nightly over the lake. The beach had a nice gradual slope that gave piece of mind when the kids were swimming. The dock was an added bonus as we brought a boat for fishing and didn't have to launch it daily.
There are 2 trees at the water line that added the perfect amount of shade to the lawn area. This allowed a great place to sit and take in the lake views without overheating in the afternoons. The local businesses and restaurants are not as abundant as we would have imagined, but the fields of wheat-grass and wildlife made an enjoyable ride to our destinations.
Burlington is about a 40 minute drive, and has plentiful food and entertainment if needed. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for peace and quiet, an open layout, and of course the evening sunsets on the water.
